It highlights the importance of ensuring free access to these events for the public, particularly in countries like India, where such events hold significant cultural and social value. The analysis critiques India's proposed antisiphoning provisions in the Broadcasting Bill and suggests that policymakers should consider approaches from countries like Australia and the UK, which have successfully balanced public access with economic interests.
