About LARC

The mission of LARC, the Scholarly Repository and Institutional Archives, named for the Lillian & Rebecca Chutick Law Library, is to create a digital space to reflect the vibrant intellectual and cultural community of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

LARC aims to:

  1. Make the scholarly life of the Law School accessible and discoverable to all
  2. Preserve and highlight the life and culture of the Law School
  3. Support the efforts of the Law School's scholars and departments to advance their missions and goals

As LARC continues to add content, it will provide a digital representation of the Law School's world-class legal education that encourages and supports creative thinking and effective action in all fields of law.

As of May 2020 LARC adopted a controlled vocabulary and guidelines for updating and maintaining its controlled vocabulary.
