Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law

The Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law (CJICL) debuted in the winter of 1992 as the New Europe Law Review. New Europe was unique among international law journals, serving as a forum to analyze the sweeping legal, political, and social changes transforming Europe. To broaden the journal's focus beyond Europe and address developments in the international legal arena, the journal was renamed the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law in the fall of 1995.

In 2017, the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law merged with the Cardozo Public Law, Policy, and Ethics Journal to form the Cardozo International & Comparative Law Review, which continues the legacy of both publications.
