Abstract
The note advocates for the implementation of Integrated Domestic Violence (IDV) Courts nationwide, arguing that these courts provide a more efficient and supportive system for survivors of domestic violence by consolidating criminal, civil, and family cases under a single judge. This "one family, one judge" model aims to reduce the fragmentation and trauma survivors face in traditional court systems, offering a holistic approach that enhances survivor safety and offender accountability.
