Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights & Social Justice
Abstract
The article challenges the legal and societal practice of assigning individuals as exclusively male or female, arguing that this binary framework perpetuates harmful sex stereotypes and restricts individual self-determination. It advocates for the elimination of sex assignment to liberate individuals from these constraints and promote diversity.
