Abstract
The article argues for the implementation of systemic mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency among criminal justice stakeholders to move away from a "win-at-all-costs" mentality. It proposes a transition toward a "just culture" that prioritizes learning from error and forward-looking accountability through structural reforms in discovery, misconduct tracking, and indigent defense.
