Abstract

Richard H. Weisberg critiques Stanley Fish's post-modernist theory, arguing that it fails to provide a moral framework necessary to prevent atrocities like the Holocaust. Fish's denial of objective truths undermines the ability to resist oppression, as seen in the complicity of Vichy lawyers during WWII, who, adhering to Fish's theory, failed to uphold ethical norms against Nazi policies.
