The Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution will honor Ambassador George Moose, as the 25th recipient of the International Advocate for Peace Award. Ambassador Moose has served as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Benin and to the Republic of Senegal eventually ascending to the role of Assistant Secretary of African Affairs and U.S. Permanent Representative to the European Office of the United Nations in Geneva. Between 2007- 2025 Ambassador Moose held leadership positions at the United States Institute of Peace, ultimately leading the organization as CEO.
April 17: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This event brings dispute resolution educators—faculty, adjuncts, clinicians, and trainers—together for a day of community, learning, conversation, creativity, and mutual support. The program will feature demonstrations of innovative teaching methods, conversations around hot educational topics, the annual Dispute Resolution Teachers Resource Share, and more.
