A Cardozo National Lawyers Guild Abolition Week event co-sponsored by The Center for Rights and Justice. Professor Judith Resnik (Yale Law School) will discuss the history of punishment and democracy, drawing on themes from her book Impermissible Punishments: How Prison Became a Problem for Democracy. Professor Resnik will be joined by Cardozo Professors Betsy Ginsberg, Kate Levine, and Alex Reinert.
