Description
As we celebrate 50 years of Cardozo, we honor the community members—past and present—who have dared to make a lasting impact on the legal world. Throughout this milestone year, we recognize the faculty, staff, and alumni whose work has shaped Cardozo across five decades.
Today, we highlight Elizabeth Goldman ’90, who dares to stand for justice through her leadership in clinical legal education. As Director of the Securities Arbitration Clinic and a Clinical Professor of Law in Cardozo’s Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution, she equips students with the skills, ethics, and confidence needed to become effective advocates while expanding access to justice.
Before joining the full-time faculty, Professor Goldman served as Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she prosecuted significant federal securities law violations and earned multiple honors for excellence and public service. Through her teaching, mentorship, and dedication to ethical advocacy, she continues to inspire the next generation of lawyers to stand firmly for justice.
