  • Interim Dean of Students Francesca Acocella received the National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals’ (NALSAP) Core Four Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to law student affairs.
  • Professor Jessica Roth spoke to Bloomberg about the Supreme Court’s Cook, Slaughter, and birthright citizenship decisions, discussing their implications for the Fourteenth Amendment.
  • Professor Michael Pollack was quoted in Bloomberg about the legal history of sidewalks and responsibilities for their maintenance, and also appeared on CNN to discuss a viral story about community sidewalk construction.
  • Adjunct Professor Gary Galperin appeared on LiveNOW from Fox to discuss developments in the Luigi Mangione criminal case and the anticipated trial timeline.

Faculty news includes:

  • Professor Lindsay Nash’s article “Resurrecting Immigration Releases” was cited by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Quiroz v. Mullin.
  • Professor Michael Pollack presented on his book Sidewalk Nation to transportation officials and appeared on multiple podcasts. The book was also reviewed in Washington Lawyer.
  • Professor Edward Zelinsky’s ongoing challenge to New York’s remote tax rule received coverage in Bloomberg Tax, Law360, Tax Notes, and the New York Law Journal.
