In Fall 2021, Cardozo Life featured the launch of the B. Nathaniel Gates Scholars Program, an initiative designed to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in law school. Named in honor of the late Professor Gates, the program provides mentorship, academic resources, and networking opportunities tailored to first-generation students and those facing barriers to higher education. The group photo highlights the inaugural class of Gates Scholars, gathered on campus to begin building community, developing leadership skills, and preparing for meaningful legal careers.
