In Fall 2024, Cardozo Life captured a historic milestone as the first cohort of E. Nathaniel Gates Scholars celebrated commencement in June 2024. Created to support first-generation and underrepresented law students, the Gates Scholars Program fosters academic success, mentorship, and community-building. Launched in 2021 during the pandemic, the inaugural group demonstrated leadership, resilience, and a deep commitment to paving the way for future scholars.
